For the Cure

Every year, Diane Williams from Little House Needleworks and Lois from Elegant Stitch get together and design a piece that benefits breast cancer research. When I saw the one for this year, I immediately called Lois and ordered it. It's called "Remember Me" and it stitched up very quickly. If you ordered this and haven't stitched it yet, be aware that there is not enough of the floss included and you will need to call Lois, she has more in the same dye lot. The finish of this intimidated me for a while. I let this piece sit for quite a while before I attempted it. Once I got started though, it wasn't hard at all, it's just those beads that make it look a bit imposing to start. I love the colors in this piece and I love that it benefits breast cancer research.

Until next time,

Catching up...can you tell?
Anyway, I saw this on your blog this morning and had to swing in when I had more time to tell you...LOVE IT! You did a fabulous job. I should have ordered this when it came out, but I was stingy and now I'm regretting it.

Thanks for your visit to my blog just a while ago...you always say the nicest things! Have a great weekend!
